LCE cement has been utilized in many high profile projects such as the following:

  1. A new metro line to speed up journeys in Cairo

    Every day, 3.5 million people in Cairo take one of the city's two metro lines. To improve service to the Egyptian capital, we are involved in building a third line which will allow a further 1.8 million to cross the city more easily when it is fully open in 2019.


    AUC is a vital bridge between the cultures of East and West, linking Egypt and the region to the world through scholarly research, study-abroad programs and partnerships with academic and research institutions


  3. Spanning a land area of over 3 million sq. m (700 acres), Cairo Festival City is a visionary mixed-use urban community strategically located at the gateway to New Cairo city. Cairo Festival City sets new standards as Egypt's premier indoor-outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment destination, providing spectacular residential villas and luxurious apartments, as well as prime office spaces, together with internationally renowned hotels, international schools and automotive showrooms all set within a beautifully landscaped and tranquil community.    


    Lafarge Egypt cement played a vital role in the construction of the Children's Cancer Institute which is the only centre of excellence dedicated soley to children with cancer in Egypt    

  5. East Port Said Port has a distinguished location east of the Northern entrance of the Suez Canal, at the confluence of three continents, and at the crossroad of the most important world sea trade route between the East and the west.


    A self-contained town on the beautiful Red Sea coast, built on 10 km of beach, the town of 10,000 residents    


    Luxor Airport (LXR) is an entry point for this popular tourist destination in the Nile Valley, and is currently Egypt's fourth-largest airport. The airport has been designed to handle around seven million passengers annually.   


  8. The concept that underlies the design of Madinaty, which covers 33.6 million square meters, is providing an exceptional style of living in a modern city with all its varied needs. A 27.3 million square meters area of the project is devoted to residential areas, each stage being provided with a set of fully integrated household services. In addition to the above, there is also an area of 6.3 million square meters dedicated to services the city's inhabitants as well as Greater Cairo residents. 


    One of the most ambitious urban development projects ever undertaken in Egypt, it is a landmark addition to the Cairo skyline.


  10. Porto Sokhna Beach Resort & Spa is cited in the heart of Ain Sokhna, located on Egypt red sea coast (on the gulf of Suez), a destination that has remained the best kept secret of affluent Egyptians.
